Members of Tenby RNLI have bade a fond farewell to lifeboat mechanic, Charles Crockford who has retired after 28 years with the institution.
Charles, who is the longest serving mechanic with the RNLI, was wished a long and happy retirement by the lifeboat crew and committee members during a special retirement dinner at the Fourcroft Hotel.
During the evening, Charles was presented with a retirement present by Eric Bancroft, president of the lifeboat management committee.
RNLI long service medals have also recently been presented to lifeboat crew members Nicky Tebbutt, Graham Waring, Peter Thomas and John Handicott.
All four crew members, who were presented with their awards by Divisional Inspector, Andy Clift, have served on the lifeboat for 20 years or more.
