Representatives from the new souvenir shop at Tenby Lifeboat Station, which has been hailed winner of the charity's National Supporter Awards (retailer category), travelled to London last week to pick up their award. Souvenir secretary Doreen Mortimer and deputy Sue Broomhead attended the charity's annual presentation of awards at the Barbican Centre, London, where they were presented with the accolade by His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent. The RNLI presents eight Supporter Awards each year to thank and recognise the outstanding support from individuals, businesses and the community.
