The Pembroke River Rally 2007 was once again a great success, attracting large crowds to the town's South Quay, The popular event had something to appeal to the whole family, including fairground rides, pig roast, charity stalls, magician, kidnapping a local VIP, Pembroke Silver Band and much, much more. Also, for those interested in boats, a wide variety of different crafts, including coracles, were on the Castle Pond and later a colourful convoy of boats, escorted by boats of the Maritime Volunteer Service, arrived at the South Quay. It was a brilliant afternoon of fun for all, and what's more, it was all in aid of a good cause, with the proceeds going to the Martin Roberts Children's Fund and other local charities.
