The recent fine weather made the annual Summer Walk by a group of Reynalton residents a great success.

Setting off from the village hall the group, including some on bikes and seven dogs, walked to Templeton Airfield, made one circuit of the field and then returned to the hall, a total of roughly five miles.

Much-appreciated refreshments were waiting at the hall along with a selection of cakes for sale.

A sum of £100-plus was raised for Tenovus and all who took part enjoyed a very pleasant social evening - thank you to all who helped in any way.

West Wales community fundraiser for Tenovus Sara Pilkington added: “Every penny raised for us counts in so many ways, so this comes with a very big thank you to all of you who took part in support of us here at Tenovus Cancer Care.”
