Residents of Pembrokeshire are set to be asked their views on many different aspects of living in the county. The Pembrokeshire Residents Opinion Survey will be carried out by independent consultants, Wavehill Consulting, on behalf of 13 local public sector organisations. The results will inform the next five years of community planning in Pembrokeshire, through the Community Planning Partnership. Approximately 750 residents, who will represent a broad cross-section of people in the county, will receive questionnaires in the post soon. "We would be very grateful if people could take a few minutes to fill in the questionnaires and return them," said Clr. John Davies, leader of Pembrokeshire County Council and chairman of the partnership. "This will help us to make sure our public services are developed in the way the people of Pembrokeshire want." Following the postal survey, the consultants will also carry out some on-street interviews right across Pembrokeshire. The Community Planning Partnership is made up of: Countryside Council for Wales, Dyfed Powys Police, Environment Agency Wales, Jobcentre Plus, Mid and West Wales Fire Brigade, Milford Haven Port Authority, Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services, Pembrokeshire College, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Pembrokeshire County Council, Pembrokeshire and Derwen NHS Trust, Pembrokeshire Local Health Board, Welsh Assembly Government: Department of Economy and Transport, Welsh Assembly Government: Department of Children, Education and Lifelong Learning and Skills.
