Tenby's two lifeboats, the all-weather RFA Sir Galahad and the inshore craft, along with the resort's and St. Govan's coastguard cliff rescue teams were tasked to go to Freshwater East on Wednesday evening to assist a stranded horse at the base of the cliff. The horse is owned by the National Trust. Tenby lifeboat crews calmed the horse by feeding it chocolate bars and buckets of fresh water. The horse eventually made its own way back safety.
