Steps leading down to Tenby’s harbour area that councillors have warned have become dangerous are to undergo repair.

Clr. Mrs. Caroline Thomas, recently requested that something needed to be done about the poor condition of the ‘Dead House Steps’ which lead down to the harbour as they had become dangerous.

At Tuesday night’s meeting of Tenby Town Council, the town clerk told members that Pembrokeshire County Council were going to carry out temporary repair work in the location, to fill the most dangerous potholes.

“This is a temporary measure that the county council say will require more work in the future, so they will continue to monitor the situation,” Mr. Davies told members.

Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter also thanked the county council for fixing the door on Brother Thomas’s Garden, which overlooks the harbour area.

“They look great, and let’s hope that they area looked after!” she said.
