To commemorate Armistice Day, Templeton Heritage Group are organising a service of remembrance at Templeton Village Green Car Park on Friday, November 11, gathering at 10.40 am.

Children from Templeton School will attend and read the poem written by the parent of the first Templeton soldier killed during the Great War, Private William Lewis, who was killed at the Battle of the Somme whilst helping to retrieve injured men from the battlefield.

Tea/coffee will be served in the church hall after the service and a small display of information about the men who lost their lives in the two wars will be on display. All are welcome to attend.
