Sageston School held a special Remembrance Day service on Tuesday - Armistice Day.
The children were arranged in the shape of a cross for the special assembly, and present were members of the Cresselly and District branch of The Royal British Legion, parents and people from the community.
Chairman, Mr. Martin Hyde, along with Deacon Jenkins, led the service, during which a candle was lit in remembrance for each of the 23 servicemen who lost their lives during WWI and WWII from the parish of Carew.
Piper Gerald MacDiarmid played a lament following the lighting of the candles.
As the children left the hall, they paid their respects by bowing to the standard of the Royal British Legion.
At 11 am, the older children in school went to the service held in Carew, while the remainder of the school held a two-minute silence in the hall.
