A coffee morning was held last Saturday at the hall, organised by Clr. Mrs. Rosemary Hayes, with committee members helping. Raffle winners were: Margaret John, Ann Mitchell, Eva Rich, Stephen John, Linnia Dennis, Dot Ridley and Noel Ebsworth. The sum raised was £161. In the evening, committee members Mary Cavell, Tessa Pearson, Rosemary Hayes, Mary Howells, Vee Smith and chairman Norman Shuck sold raffle tickets at the tribute Bee Gees dance, when the sum raised was £235. All money raised goes to the refurbishment of the Regency Hall. Further fund-raising events will be held during the year.
