Local councillors have recommended refusal of an application by Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire to erect new signage at their new offices situated in Tenby's Deer Park. Clr. Mrs. Julie Evans claimed at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council that the signage which had already been introduced at the premises "looked a mess". Mayor, Clr. John Griffiths, took on board councillors' concerns and listed the reasons for refusing the application as - the property is in a residential street and the signage is out of character with the rest of the area; and that there was concern about the number of cars illegally parking outside the building causing increasing traffic problems on a busy route in and out of Tenby.
