A fishing vessel was towed to safety after breaking down two-miles east of Tenby. The vessel, Mistress, with two persons on board, fired a red flare to attract attention to her plight after suffering engine failure at around 6.20 pm on Friday. Fortunately, another fishing vessel, the Gowan Star, was in the vicinity and saw the flare and went to her assistance, towing the strickened vessel back to Saundersfoot. Tenby Coastguard attended at the harbour and gave safety advice.
