Tenby Round Table have rounded off the year by announcing a record breaking sum of money raised for charity in 2022, totalling a whopping £27,344!

This money was raised from two Beer Festivals (one which had been postponed from 2021) held at the town’s De Valence Pavilion venue; a Santa Run around the seaside town; and two record-breaking Summer Spectaculars at the harbour.

All the events have been organised and put on by the thirteen members of Tenby Round Table with additional help from other volunteers.

“We are delighted to announce the total we have raised during this last year! Fully restarting our fundraising events following two years of Covid restrictions was never going to be easy, but we are delighted for the support we have received from locals and visitors to our community,” said Tenby Round Table chairman Ed Spence.

“We are incredibly proud of the amount we have raised this year and the good that it will do for local causes, charities, and worthy individuals in our community.

“We have already made several sizeable donations this year and are looking forward to announcing more in the coming weeks. A huge thank you to the current and past members of Tenby Round Table, especially my president Jonathan Webb, for organising and running the events throughout the year.

“A huge thank you must also go to the additional volunteers that helped us put on these events. And, last but not least, we also thank each and every person who attended our events this year for allowing us to hit this fantastic total!

“Thank you again for supporting our fundraising efforts - we will be back in 2023!” he added.
