A very reassuring response  has been received from Welsh Water on delays in upgrading sewerage and water treatment facilities in Narberth which has delayed a number of housing developments,

At a meeting last Thursday of Pembrokeshire County Council's full environment committee - arranged because of a notice of motion submitted to the full council back in the summer of last year by  County Clr. Wynne Evans requesting that Welsh Water make good their promises of a immediate upgrade for Narberth - the water company confirmed that the work would be completed within the next 12 months.

The work would also consist of new relief pipeage at the bridge in Narberth.

Clr. Evans publicly thanked the senior officers of Welsh Water, and said he looked forward to the work being competed.
