There were no changes at the annual general meeting of the Haverfordwest branch of the Royal British Legion Women's Section, held on Wednesday, October 8.

The Section will be holding a Poppy Appeal Concert on Friday, November 7, at St. Davids Church, Prendergast, with the Landsker Singers, while Christmas Bingo will be on Friday, December 5.

At the South Wales meeting, held in Carmarthen, on Friday, Pembrokeshire was represented by Haverfordwest and St. Davids. At the cenotaph service, the Haverfordwest chairman, Mrs. Joan Thomas, laid a poppy wreath.

Discussions were held at the Ivy Busy Hotel, and Mrs. Doreen Warlow, president of the Haverfordwest section, became the central committee member and will represent the area in London.
