Concerns have been raised by local residents regarding the increased activity at the Royal Artillery Range in Manorbier.

Plaid AM Nerys Evans was told how low flying and firing activities have been increasing in frequency and volume every year.

The West Wales AM said: "Concerns have been raised with me by residents in Manorbier with regards to an increase in low flying and firing activities at the local Royal Artillery Range. The range at Manorbier sees considerable amount of usage day and night, which is obviously of concern to local residents.

"We must also remember that this area is within the National Park, which of course is an area designated to protect and enhance the special, natural features of the landscape, as well as the cultural heritage of the Park.

"I have written to the Directorate of Air Staff at the Ministry of Defence asking him why there has been an increase in low flying and firing in this particular area and has permission been granted for this."
