On Easter Saturday, 25 members of the Pembrokeshire Ramblers met in the picturesque valley of Monk Haven for an eight-mile walk.

There were stops at intervals along the route, when the leader gave a brief account of places of interest. On reaching the beach at Monk Haven, the ramblers proceeded along the coastal path in an easterly direction to pass Lindsway Bay and turn inland at Great Castle Head to connect with a minor road leading down to the west side beach of Sandy Haven.

A lunch break was taken in the hazy sunshine, before returning in a westerly direction through a wooded area onto the coastal path, with a fine view of the Haven towards St. Anne's Head. Then turning inland to pass the village of St. Ishmael's to descend through the woods to St. Ishmael's church and the Monk Haven valley once again.
