Narberth’s ‘rainbow fairy’ and a Pembrokeshire graffiti artist have combined to produce a colourful display in support of the NHS.
Diana Brook who has been hailed a ‘community champion’ by residents of Narberth for continuing to spread smiles and brighten up the town during the Coronavirus crisis whilst also raising funds for Leukaemia UK joined up with ‘Lloyd the Graffiti’ (whilst keeping to social distancing measures!) to produce this stunning mural on the old school building.
To date Diana, who also teaches art at Redhill School has created hundreds of personal designs for windows or doors across the town, after drawing her first rainbow on her Heddfan studio window in St James Street earlier this month when she and neighbours were out showing their support by clapping for the NHS on a Thursday evening.
Lloyd is a full time graffiti artist from Haverfordwest who travels around the country painting walls, buildings and everything in between.
His work, mostly in a cartoon style, tends to focus on all things floral and coastal - heavily influenced as a result of living by the sea in West Wales.
Nearby venue the Queen’s Hall gave a big thank you to the duo from everyone in the town for the mural, describing it as ‘gorgeous, poignant and full of hope!’
