Sir,
I would like to use your newspaper to ask the public if there is any interest to improve our rail link here to the outside world, and use it.
An example of what I'm talking about: if anyone wants to work in Bristol, Newport or Cardiff, there is no late train back here, so if anyone wants to work in the evenings, which a lot of people would like to do (as they do in other parts of the UK), South Pembrokeshire is cut off from the rail network and people are forced to use a car! (or get a taxi from Whitland to Tenby - cost about £30!).
Anyone interested in improving the status quo (it will only change if there is enough support), please contact me.
William Rogers,
Newpark,
Saundersfoot.
