Pictured is Rachel Johns, who recently participated in a skydive at Swansea Airport, raising awareness for her charity MIND in memory of her late uncle, Philip Yates, of Kilgetty, who lost his life due to depression
Rachel’s aim is to help people suffering from mental illness get the support they so badly need and deserve.
“No more lives should be lost over mental illness, especially when they have so much to live for, and if only one life can be saved through raising money, then I will be so pleased,” she said.
Rachel is a former pupil of Stepaside CP School and Ysgol Greenhill, Tenby, but now lives in Resolven, near Neath. The amount she has raised to date is £1,200.
Rachel is seen with her grandparents, Richard and Alison Yates.
