Whilst we are nearing the end of another wet summer, the Rabbits section are still very active in the Three Counties Summer League and our own internal competitions, which will take us through until early October and our annual general meeting.
Three Counties Summer League: After back to back home wins over South Pembs. and Milford Haven, we are now guaranteed staying in Pool A for next year and we can still win the title this year. Our remaining fixtures are away to Haverfordwest on Saturday, September 19, and finally away to Glynhir on Sunday, October 4. We are organising a bus for the Haverfordwest game and we will have a few 'comfort breaks' on the way back. Please put your names on the team sheet on the notice board.
B & H Shield: This is the final 'major' of the Rabbits season and will take place on Sunday, September 27, with a 9.30 tee-off. This competition is restricted to Rabbits members who have played in any of this year's Three Counties Summer League matches and is a yellow box stableford qualifying competition.
Club Finals Day: It is very pleasing to see that the Rabbits section is represented in the club's main day on Sunday, September 20, with Nick Allen in both the Allen Cup and Colwyn Williams Cup finals and Mark Edwards in the Charles Mathias Cup final. Please come along and support the boys on the day.
AGM and Winter League: This year's AGM and Winter League draw will take place at 7.30 pm on Friday, October 9, at the clubhouse. All the notices are posted on the notice board. Any player with a handicap of 14 and above is welcome to participate. Please put your names on the list or contact Mark Edwards or Mick Gillet for further details.
