Sir, For some years, about 50 family and friends from Cwmaman, near Aberdare, have rented accommodation and spent a week's holiday in Saundersfoot over the New Year period. As part of this week away, I have organised a fun quiz which is held in the Captain's Table pub. This year we extended the quiz beyond our group and invited other teams to join, with all prceeds to be donated to the South East Asia Tsunami appeal. The quiz was a huge success, with 11 teams taking part and a total amount collected on the night of £220. I would like to extend a special thanks to Dave Lawrence, Geoff and all the staff of the Captains Table, Paul and Sue, of The Strand Antiques, and Michelle from the Tourist Information Centre, for their generous gifts donated to the quiz night. Can I also take this opportunity of thanking the traders and people of Saundersfoot for making this week such a special event and creating such a pleasant and welcoming atmospherein the village.
