The Lions Club of Tenby and Saundersfoot are staging a quiz night with a difference.
Taking place at Tenby Bowling Club next month, the format will take the form of a sponsored event, with each participating team being sponsored to take part.
The winners will have the total they have collected matched by the Lions Club, which will then be presented to the charity or good cause of their choice.
With the exception of the tournament winners, all other sponsorship money will go to local Lions charities and good causes.
The winners will also receive a trophy, handcrafted in beech wood by Lion, Andrew Millward, which they can keep as a memento for 12 months.
Aside from the sponsorship, there will be a charge of £1 per entrant (maximum of four persons per team), to help subsidise 'half-time' sandwiches and snacks.
Quiz master will be Richard Ormond and the format will be approximately 10 rounds of 10 questions each, with additional bonus questions thrown in.
The event takes place on Wednesday, February 18, at 7.30 pm.
There is a maximum restriction of 20 teams, so to avoid disappointment, contact quiz co-ordinator, Tony Evans, on 07815842101 as soon as possible to register and obtain a sponsor form.
