Two ladies, representing the Narberth Quilters, attended the monthly meeting of the League of Friends of Withybush Hospital recently to present them with a quilt, made by members, to be raffled for the funds. This 'Brenna's quilt', made to an American design, comprises 400 individual squares and is fully padded, lined and machine washable. Each member of the Quilters nominated a charity which they considered worthy of their best efforts, and Mrs. Anne Davies, of Milford Haven, was the winner with her choice of the League of Friends. The Quilters' last effort they raffled themselves and raised £1,800 for the Air Ambulance (Wales).
