There was a definite buzz in the Narberth air last Friday evening as the audience began to arrive at the Queens Hall. They were coming to witness what would turn out to be a remarkable show - a rollercoaster ride through some of the best material from Sting (and the Police) - performed superbly by 'Stingchronicity'. The appreciative Queens Hall crowd danced their socks off to classics like 'Roxanne', 'Fields of Gold', 'Every Little Thing' and a host of other songs for the two hours the band were on stage. More than a few comments were heard about the remarkable similarity between Ged and Sting's vocals. With eyes closed, you would have thought Sting himself was on stage! Stingchronicity are more than just another 'covers' band; they seemed to enjoy every minute of their set and, if this was really the first time they had played such a long set, it didn't show. For lovers of Sting and the Police, this is definitely a band not to be missed!
