TOMORROW (Saturday) night, local band 'The Rainkings' (pictured below) appear at the Queen's Hall, Narberth. Band members, Duncan and Rebecca Whitehurst should be well known to readers who follow the live music scene as over the years they have delighted audiences around the county with their beautiful songwriting inspired by the Celtic tradition.
'The Rainkings' are joined by Martin Cunningham on bass and Bernie Kelt on drums who provide a weighty rhythm section to back Rebecca's soaring violin and Duncan's guitar and vocals.

You can hear 'The Rainkings' support Bristol-based fiery, folk-rockers, K-passa, making a welcome return to the Queen's Hall, as part of their 2002 UK/European tour. The six-piece Bristol-based band are famous for their crowd pleasing anthems that are danceable in the extreme, and are well known on the festival circuit, playing Glastonbury's main stage, as well as appearing as support for big time bands such as Duran Duran in Cardiff and Paris.
This UK based folk/ roots/rock band has a huge audience following across Europe and the UK, fusing trad Celtic folk and hard rock into a formidable hybrid with a programme to whip up any crowd into an excited frenzy.
