The first practice session of the new year took place on Thursday under the leadership of Mrs. Sharron Lusher (pictured).
Sharron, who takes over leadership of the choir from Mr. Glyn Evans, studied under La Parrott at Aberystwyth University, specialising in Welsh music post-1940 while obtaining her MA and becoming a Bachelor music.
She plays piano and violin, and has accompanied choirs and soloists all through Wales and Southern England.
Explaining to members her plans and ideas for the choir, Sharron let it to be known that anyone in the community who would like to join her and her choir would be made most welcome, and should either turn up at the regular practices held every Thursday evening at Carew Wesley Chapel, or contact any choir member.
