Last week saw the Quaynotes choir hold their annual general meeting at the practice rooms, Carew.
Musical director Sharron Lusher, in her address to choir members, thanked them for their hard work and diligence during the past 12 months, and was of the opinion that the choir had made good progress, with four new members joining, several new numbers mastered and many successful concerts performed.
Special mention and thanks were made to accompanist Eileen Thomas, whose talent and dedication to the choir could not be overstated.
The only change of office was Ray Hughes taking over from Tony Shaw as chairman of the choir.
Ray's first job as the new chairman was to thank Tony for his hard work and diligence during the past 12 months, a sentiment seconded by all present.
With treasurer Bronwen Hicks reporting that the finances were in good order, the meeting came to an end in time for members to enjoy refreshments provided by the ladies of the choir.
The Quaynotes' next performance is Friday, November 25, at Carew Chapel.
