Tonight (Friday), the Quaynotes Choir commence their Autumn series of concerts with a trip to Llanstephan church.

The choir travel there to perform at the invite of Rev. Thelma Adey-Williams, for many years part of the religious scene at Carew, and members are sure it will be lovely for one and all to meet up again.

Next Thursday (October 10), the choir are giving a concert at Carew Wesley Methodist Chapel to celebrate the arrival of their new musical director, Mr. Dave Howells.

Dave (seen in picture with choir accompanist Eileen Thomas) took over the leadership of the choir following the resignation of Mrs. Sharron Lusher in the Spring, and we are promised 'songs from the shows', hymns and arias, wonderful melodies and beautiful harmonies.

The evening commences at 7.30 pm, with admission £5.
