Last Friday, The Quaynotes were at St. Oswald's School in Jeffreyston.
The original planned 'Proms in the Park' fell foul of the dreadful weather, to be replaced with an indoor concert in the school hall.
The hastily rearranged evening disappointed no one, with everyone giving of their best. The Quaynotes, with their songs from the shows, were in fine voice, along with a solo item by Val Evans.
Without doubt, though, the star performance of the evening was by the school choir.
As well as singing several items on their own, their combined hymn singing with the audience and Quaynotes was a real treat .
Their final performance of 'The Penguin Song' was as good as it gets.
They are a credit to their school and their community and deserve everyone's support .
With Tenby Brass bringing the evening to a rousing finalé, a good night was had by all.
The Quaynotes' next performance is tomorrow (Saturday) at Amroth Parish Hall, Summerhill, commencing at 7.30 pm, with guest star Millie Duckworth.
