There is a great opportunity to hear the Quaynotes Choir in the lovely setting of St. James Church, Manorbier, on Sunday, at 8 pm. Ray Hughes is a member of both the church choir and the Quaynotes, who are a mixed choir of between 25 and 30 members under the leadership of their musical director, Mrs. Sharon Lusher, and the newly-appointed pianist, Elaine Thomas. They will sing a variety of music, including classical, spiritual and modern, and pieces taken from Broadway shows. These will include 'Love changes everything,' 'Can you feel the love tonight,' 'Moon River,' 'The Lord's Prayer,' 'The Lord is my Shepherd,' and many more. Tickets will be available at the door, £5 each, and proceeds raised are being donated to the church restoration fund. Refreshments will be available.
