Manorbier and District Luncheon Club were recently presented with a cheque for £50 by Terry and Irene, of the Castle Inn, Manorbier. The cheque was the result of the marvellous efforts of the pub quiz and whist teams, who have been busy raising money for local organisations in the community. Tony Wales said on behalf of the luncheon club: "This is a tremendous help for our luncheon club members in helping to establish the club. We would like to say a very big thank you for this marvellous donation." A similar cheque for £50 was also recently presented to Manorbier VC School Again, Tony Wales, who received the cheque on behalf of the school governors, said: "On behalf of the children and staff, I would like to thank the Castle Inn for this very generous gift which will be used to plant new trees in our school."
