Local police have thanked members of the public who helped them in arresting four men on suspicion of theft at the weekend.
A number of civilians reported seeing the men acting suspiciously in Tenby late on Saturday afternoon and gave officers a description of the vehicle they were seen using.
The description was circulated and subsequently located in Penally.
As a result, the four men, all from the Cardiff and Pontypridd area, were arrested in connection with thefts from motor vehicles which had occurred in Tenby, Lydstep and Pentlepoir.
After being interviewed, one was released without charge, while the other three were charged with eight offences and were bailed to appear in court at a later date.
"If it wasn't for members of the public reporting seeing the men acting suspiciously around Somerfield, these arrests would not have been made," said a police spokesman.
