Pembrokeshire County Council representative for Narberth, Clr. Wynne Evans, met with dog control officers in the town last week, and walked around areas that are the worst areas for dog fouling.
"Some new signage is to go up in Back Lane, with regard to penalty notices," said Clr. Evans, who also explained that pcso's also have the right to issue penalty notices should they witness dog owners not clearing up after their dogs.
"It is up to the general public to report these people, and be prepared to go to court to give evidence, should the need arise," said Clr. Evans, who is to meet with dog control officers on a regular basis.
