Nick Bourne, Welsh Conservative Leader in the National Assembly for Wales and Assembly Member for Mid and West Wales, and Stephen Crabb, Member of Parliament for Preseli Pembrokeshire, are to hold a public meeting to fight any proposal to cutback health services at Withybush Hospital.
The meeting will be held at the Picton Centre, Haverfordwest, on Thursday, May 18, at 8 pm. Nick Bourne said: "There is considerable concern in Pembrokeshire about the threat to cut back health services at, or even to close, Withybush Hospital. "If these proposals are implemented, many more people will be faced with having to travel long distances to access NHS treatment.
"I am totally opposed to any such action and Stephen Crabb and I look forward to hearing the views of the public on this issue on May 18."
