The setting up of a new Community Shop Cooperative in Newport, Pembrokeshire to allow the commencement of a community share offer is nearing completion during the next few days.

A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 19 at 7 pm in the Commodore’s Lounge (upstairs), Newport Boat Club. A limited bar will be available.

The purpose of the meeting is to share with people the progress that has been made with the Siop Havards project and for people to ask any questions before the imminent launch of the share offer. Full details of the project can be found on www.siophavards.cymru

A full share offer prospectus and a comprehensive business plan will be distributed to all interested supporters. To date, a pledge initiative has identified investors who are willing to put in £250,000.
