A cheque for £7,500, which has been raised locally over the past 12 months, has been handed over to the cancer charity, Tenovus, by the Tenby and District branch. The presentation to Mark Newbold, regional appeals co-ordinator for Wales and Mid Wales, was made by Maureen Webb, branch chairman, at the annual fork luncheon at the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot, on Friday.
