Almost £1million is to be spent on providing safe walking and cycling routes in south Pembrokeshire.
Pembrokeshire County Council has received £958,000 Safe Routes in Communities funding from the National Assembly to develop safer routes in Saundersfoot and Kilgetty.
£586,000 will be spent on new and improved footways, safe crossings, shelters, cycle racks and traffic calming measures in Saundersfoot, while £372,000 will be spent on similar measures in Kilgetty - along with the introduction of a 20mph traffic zone and bus stop enhancements.
Clr. Jamie Adams, deputy leader and cabinet member for highways and transportation, welcomed the assembly grant.
"Any moves to encourage people to walk or cycle more in their communities - in particular children travelling to and from school - are to be welcomed," he said
"As well as improving people's health, such moves also benefit the environment and reduce traffic congestion."
