I write in support of Brooklands Nursing Home re. the proposed development of a civic amenity and recycling centre on the A478 right next door to the home.

Keith and I (Sandalwood Duo) have the pleasure of visiting the home every Friday afternoon to entertain some of the residents.

During the better weather, this pleasurable activity takes place in the newly developed gardens at the back of the home. These gardens provide a safe, relaxing, free, area for the residents to wander freely. This happens to be very close to the proposed site.

We feel very strongly that the proposed site should not be built next door to a home that provides a happy, safe, relaxed environment for the residents to live in, for the remainder of their lives in this sometimes cruel unreasonable world we live in.

With this in mind, we have written a song and recorded it onto CD. We would be happy to perform this song, to support the cause 'anywhere'.
