A community regeneration meeting, held this week, has outlined a number of short-term and long-term projects for Tenby over the next two to three years.
Speaking at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council, Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown said that Pembrokeshire County Council's head of regeneration Martin White, cabinet member for economy, tourism and communities Clr. David Pugh, and community regeneration manager Sinead Henehan, had given 100 per cent backing to different projects that were discussed at the meeting and that regeneration funding was in place for some of the different things that they wanted to do.
Clr. Lawrence Blackhall, who was also part of the discussions, said that he felt that the town council, county council, Chamber of Trade and development trust, were working well together in moving forward with objectives.
"The focus on environmental, economy and people is very encouraging," he remarked.
