Plans to re-develop the children's play area at Tenby's Jubilee Gardens, overlooking the South Beach, have progressed, following a recent meeting between town councillors and Pembrokeshire County Council. Sinead Heneghan, of the county council's regeneration department, met with Tenby town council members Mrs. Christine Brown and Deputy Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Kerri Durham and town clerk Andrew Davies last week to discuss the proposals. The town clerk told members of the council at their meeting on Tuesday evening that they were looking into leasing the area of the land at the Jubilee and that the meeting had been 'very productive' with regards to looking at funding towards play equipment. "If everything goes to plan, we hope to put the plans before a cabinet meeting at County Hall in October," added Clr. Mrs. Durham.
