It was a pleasure to welcome Brian Flavin, an ex- member, back to last week's meeting of Tenby and District Probus Club. There was a full house for president Ray Poole's last time in office and it was nice to see some long absent friends. Anniversary boy for the day was the president himself and he was too shy to announce it, so the secretary stepped in. Several ideas for trips were floated and the secretary is asked to seek more information on them and report back. The next club meeting is on February 1 when the speaker is Jim Taylor. If you are the wife of a retired professional or businessman get him out from under your feet twice a month, by sending him to join this happy band. Contact Lew Day on 844633 for more information. The AGM for the year followed the normal meeting and the office of president will be undertaken by Darrel John, with his vice-president being Tony Webster. The other officers retained their positions for a further year. Darrel will keep everyone on their toes and a busy and enjoyable 12 months is looked forward to. Charity for the year is the RNLI.
