The Saundersfoot Probus Club held a St. Valentine's Day dinner on the Wednesday at the Gower Hotel, Saundersfoot.
A very nice meal was enjoyed by the club members, together with their wives. All the ladies received a red rose and a valentine's kiss from the president, Mr. J. Morris.
A special guest was Mary Patterson, who is shortly to celebrate her 90th birthday. Mary who is now a widow looked as charming as ever. Also celebrating her birthday was Valerie Delpech. Valerie's husband Robert, a previous president, often provides the venue for a club barbeque where wives and friends are invited.
The president welcomed a new member to the club, Mr. Kenneth Phillips, with his wife Esme.
New members from the local area are always welcome to join the club and participate in the many activities and social gatherings that are organised.
The club activities include outings to places of interest, together with lunches to which wives and friends are invited.
