Pembrokeshire Rural Outreach have organised a conference on Wednesday, September 29, to coincide with Rural Health Week in Wales. The conference, titled 'How green is our County; a rural idyll or an obstacle course?', will run over the afternoon and evening at the Food Pavilion, County Showground, Haverfordwest, highlighting rural stress in the county and the work of PRO and other related agencies. Two keynote speakers (Rory O'Sullivan, head of agriculture policy, Welsh Assembly Government, and Jane Randall-Smith, chief executive, Institute of Rural Health) have been invited to address delegates as well as local theatre group 'Theatr Fforwm Cymru' enacting workshops involving typical situations on an average Welsh farm.
