Templeton will be going green and white tomorrow (Saturday) for an amazing coffee morning at the Village Hall.

The event is in celebration of St. David's Day, with the festivities starting at 10.30 am and going on until approximately 12.30 pm.

It's being organised by the Templeton girls; this time to help with locals Donna and Kevin Longhurst's London Marathon Challenge by raising money for both Macmillan Cancer Support and Sandy Bears, which is a Pembrokeshire children's charity that helps bereaved children deal with the loss of a loved one through illness.

As well as tea/coffee and a selection of home-made cakes, there will be various stalls, including cakes, books, bric-a-brac and even a little something to keep the children happy.

There is also an outstanding raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses up for grabs, which together total an amazing £2,500.

Since last week's issue when we reported on the event, more donations have been made, including from CPL a tonne of coal which is worth approximately £280 and also a builders bag of seasoned logs worth about £100.

There's also a large tonne of anthracite donated by Celtic Energy, two one-hour golf lessons with PGA professional Kim Thomas, a voucher for a Ramada Hotel, a voucher for a one-and-a-half hour training lesson with Willowtree School for Dogs, a Jago voucher courtesy of Helen's Hair Salon, plus among other items, 30 hampers ranging in value from £15 to £50.

Said Donna: "In total, the prizes are now worth over £2,500, which for a little place like Templeton is phenomenal. The event has gone from strength to strength."
