Prize photograph

This photograph won a third place in the Motoring News Photo of the Year competition for Tenby Camera Club member David Cooper. It shows a crash incident during the Epynt stages of the Tarmacadam National Championship when a car left the road; the driver and navigator were injured and their vehicle had to be cut open to release them, but their survival and recovery is a tribute to the safety features of rally cars. The photo has appeared in competitions and another magazine.
