Recently, the premiere took place of 'From Castle Hill', a set of four musical sketches of Tenby by composer Andrew Cusworth (pictured right).

The sketches were written for the internationally renowned recorderist John Turner following his visit to Tenby Arts Festival in 2006.

The concert at St. James' Church, Gatley, included a number of premieres and was considered by many in the audience to be celebration of new music. John Turner was joined by New World Ensemble directed by Andy Long.

Having now given the first performance of 'From Castle Hill' in the unlikely surrounds of Stockport, John Turner has expressed his hope to perform these pieces in the town that inspired them: Tenby!
