Sir,
A lot of criticism is made of our National Health Service, but I wish to make some positive comments. I recently underwent a hip replacement operation at Withybush Hospital, and I have nothing but praise for the service provided. Even before admission, I met a very helpful technician who altered my bed and various bits of household equipment, ready for my return home. Mr. Khan and his surgical team were very considerate, and all the staff on the ward where I recovered were very kind. A great effort was made to keep the ward clean, and the regular cups of tea were served by pleasant staff.
Following my return home, I have been looked after well by the acute care at home service, and I am making excellent progress in such a short time. Thank you to everyone who made my experience of the health service in Pembrokeshire a good one.
Keith Sandall,
