Two Narberth women have potted themselves places in the Welsh pool team.
Both Helen Hallwood and Seadna Bradshaw were right on cue at the recent trials held in Merthyr Tydfil, with postlady Helen being chosen to play in the Wales Ladies A team, and Seadna being selected for the B team.
Helen, of Queen's Court, and Seadna, of Garfield Gardens, already both represent Pembrokeshire, while on a local level, Helen is a member of the Dragon B team in the Narberth League and Seadna plays for the Ivy Bush, where she also works. They also both play for Charlie's Sports Bar in the Haverfordwest League.
Helen is now chalking up for the forthcoming world championships to be held in Bridlington later this month when Wales will be defending their title, while Seadna is gearing up for a squad game against the A team.
Both Helen and Seadna are actively looking for sponsorship and anyone who would like to offer financial assistance is asked to contact 860679.
