A six-year-old pupil at Tenby VC Infants School had plenty to smile about this week after winning the Tenby Observer's 150th birthday poster competition.
Natalya-Victoria Hinde, the latest winner in our competition to commemorate our milestone anniversary, was presented with a book token by our general manager, Mrs. Clare Townend, on Tuesday.
As part of our celebrations, every month a school is being asked to design a greeting to mark the special occasion and this month, pupils at Tenby VC Infants School let their imagination run riot, with 17-year-old Tasker Milward School pupil, Alex Viol, who spent a week's work experience with us last week, being given the unenviable job of selecting the winner.
This, however, is not the first time Natalya has been in the news!
In October 1999, she and her family, who were then living in the village of Hazelgrove in The Pennines, but enjoyed holidaying in Pembrokeshire, made the headlines when they travelled over 200 miles to have her christened at St. Mary's Church, Tenby.
